Legislator Crusades Against Microchips
Missouri Rep. Jim Guest, R-King City, drummed up opposition among fellow legislators this year and found no resistance. They
pushed through an amendment to a bill that makes it illegal for employers to force their employees to have the identification
microchips implanted for any reason. It awaits the governor's signature.
RFID Rebels Arise
Some people, myself included, just don't like being needlessly surveiled and snooped upon. Why, they wonder, should one's
every movement be tracked and recorded by government peeping Toms and/or corporate marketing departments?
Real ID Defeated In Minnesota
The Real ID mandate would require every citizen to carry a U.S. government-approved card to board a plane or enter a federal
facility.
Pa. Dept. of Agriculture Quickly Settles Lawsuit Involving Mennonite Farmer
Officials with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture have agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by an Alliance Defense Fund
allied attorney on behalf of farmer James Landis. The department had attempted to force Landis to submit to having a federal
identification number in order to continue to do business, in violation of Landis' religious beliefs.
Rejecting National ID
REAL ID isn't about national security. It isn't about illegal immigration. It isn't about identity fraud, or even cold medicine.
It's about Washington politics. Federal bureaucrats want to coerce states like Virginia into building a multi-billion dollar
system for identifying, tracking, and controlling law-abiding citizens.
How Will Real ID Affect You?
A May deadline looms as just one flash point in a political showdown between Homeland Security and states that oppose Real
ID demands.
Religious Minorities Face Real ID crackdown
Some U.S. states have long allowed citizens with religious objections to avoid having their photograph on driver's licenses.
The Amish, Old Order Mennonites, and some Muslim women fall into this category. But licenses without photographs don't comply
with Real ID, a rule that could invite a legal challenge.
Farmers Fear a Barnyard Big Brother
And despite the administration's insistence that the program is voluntary, farmers and families, such as the Calderwoods,
chafe at the heavy-handed and often mandatory way states have implemented it, sometimes with the help of sheriff's deputies.
NAIS ALERT!
Michigan AG issues warrant to have cattle TB tested and tagged.
Note: While efforts to resist the implementation of the cashless/RFID economic system are to be commended, it will not be
stopped.
Revelation Chapter 1, verse 1:
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which
God gave unto him , to show unto his
servants things which must shortly come
to pass; and he sent and signified it
by his angel unto his servant John.
Notice that God says "...MUST shortly
come to pass;...". - Pastor Guest
Privacy a Hot Topic as RFID Tagging Grows in Use
Privacy concerns over RFID tagging are reaching new heights, with state legislators introducing and increasingly passing new
measures to restrict their use, while employers face a barrage of concern from workers over RFID-embedded identity badges.
Mixed Signs
Legislatures in 17 states have taken action opposing the act, according to the American Civil Liberties Union. What's more,
the Senate recently took a stand against funding it.
Privacy Concerns Attached to RFID Tags
Without legislation to safeguard privacy, the benefits of RFID technology will come at too high a cost to civil liberties,
privacy advocates contend.
Privacy will be promised, but the information that is being gathered will be accessible by government agencies and possibly
businesses. Who knows when a hacker might access files and distribute them? - Pastor Guest
Note: When the "Real ID" cards are lost, stolen, etc., making it impossible for the holder to transact their everyday
business, it will then be "necessary" to implant the chip in the individual for greater security and convenience.
