Revelation Chapter 13, Verses 16 - 18

16 And he causeth all, both small and
great, rich and poor, free and bond,
to receive a mark in their right hand,
or in their foreheads;

17 And that no man might buy or sell,
save he that had the mark, or the name
of the beast, or the number of his
name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath
understanding count the number of the
beast: for it is the number of a man;
and his number is Six hundred three
score and Six.

Credit Union Branch Cashes Out of Coins

Coins are not handled at the new People's Trust Federal Credit Union branch inside the Shops at Houston Center at 1200 McKinney. A customer who wants to cash a check for $324.35 has two choices -- deposit the 35 cents into an account or donate it to the credit union's charitable foundation.

This is just another small step towards a completely
cashless economic system. I predict that this will be
a standard practice in all financial institutions before
long. God's people need to prepare spiritually for the
days that lie ahead. - Pastor Guest

Mini-Payments Join Cashless Economy

As Australia drifts towards a cashless economy, the race is on to capture a share of the $170 billion that each year gets spent in transactions of under $35.

Sun Country Goes Cashless

Sun Country Airlines will accept credit cards for snacks and beverages sold on board, but starting today it will not accept cash.

College Faculty Develops Reliable Cashless Vending

A pair of engineering faculty members at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. were able to develop a cashless vending program for the campus that has been reliable, secure, and has increased vending sales by about 25 percent. The faculty members used the radio frequency identification (RFID) technology in the campus security system to develop the cashless vending system.

Paying Cash? That'll Cost you Extra

"I was told that it was a courtesy to take cash," she said. "I said, 'Are you kidding me?'"

It's no joke. Beginning earlier this year, AT&T Wireless began to charge customers who pay their bills in their stores.

MasterCard And USAT Expand PayPass Cashless Capability To 17,500 Vending Sites Nationwide

To make a purchase, the patron simply taps a PayPass-enabled payment card or device on the ePort terminal. The terminal scans the payment medium wirelessly, transmits the information over a wide-area network for authentication, then flashes a light and displays a message to signal the completion of the transaction, all in a matter of seconds.

Ghana All Set For Biometric Smartcard Usage

Very soon, traders and restaurant operators in Ghana would accept payment through Point of Sale (POS) machines, as all is set for massive deployment of the POS that will kick-start the national switch, the e-zwich, which would link the payment systems of all banks, savings and loans as well as rural banks in Ghana.

The move means the nation is gradually moving from cash into a cashless society.

I believe that those who are imposing the cashless system (which will lead to the mark of the beast) upon the world, are financing its implementation in third world nations in order to get the "kinks" out before it is forced upon us. - Pastor Guest

Even in Bangladesh...

Electronic transaction is getting increasingly popular across the world. Many developing countries, including China and India, are trying to build a 'cashless society' by introducing ATM, debit and credit cards to avoid risk in moving with cash.
"We'll make cashless banking happened not only in urban areas but also in rural Bangladesh. We'll issue over three million debit and pre-paid cards by 2010, the largest in the country," a senior AB Bank official said.

D.C. Cafe Only Takes Plastic

Be sure to have your credit card or debit card on hand in case the mood for crepes strikes you while in the Georgetown section of Washington, D.C. As reported by National Public Radio, neighborhood café Snap, which specializes in crepes as well as bubble tea, made the switch about five months ago to a plastic-only policy.

Get ready - more and more businesses are going to refuse to take cash. It won't matter that our money says that it is "Legal Tender For All Debts, Public And Private". - Pastor Guest

Wal-Mart To Require Item-Level Tags

Starting Oct. 31, 2009, suppliers that ship products to Sam's Club's distribution center in DeSoto, TX, will be required to tag each product.

This is a step toward inventorying everything we own. Once
every item that is sold is tagged it will be almost impossible
for individuals to trade items with one another. This will
effectively eliminate the possibility of a black market.

French Road Test Cashless City

The tourist city of Caen in Normandy is hosting a major European trial of the use of NFC (near field communication) - a mobile technology that can be used for anything from paying for groceries to finding out about your home town.

New Zealand

Electronic transactions are so common that New Zealanders can pay for everything - from dog food to dentists - with the swipe of a plastic card. We have become used to getting our money from shopkeepers using EFTPOS, instead of from banks or ATMs.

With electronic transactions, phone and internet banking, New Zealand is leading the world in the move to a cashless society.

After 6 Robberies in Reading, Safety a Priority for Deliverymen

One problem, Machemer said, is that many customers insist on paying cash.
Reider said Clover Hill hopes to have a new cashless system in place soon.
He said he realizes some market owners prefer to pay in cash but they will no longer be allowed to pay the drivers.

Smart Cart For Groceries Will It Be Able To Bag Them, Too?

Microsoft Corp. is bringing digital advertising to the grocery cart.
The software maker spent four years working with Plano, Texas-based MediaCart Holdings Inc. on a grocery cart-mounted console that helps shoppers find products in the store, then scan and pay for their items without waiting in the checkout line.

The only way to make shopping easier than this is to put an RFID chip in the shoppers hand. - Pastor Guest

The World's Largest Item-level RFID Application

Item-level tagging is an issue that makes the heart beat a little quicker; it seems to get us closer to that nirvana of the 'Internet of things'.

The move from pallet level ( as is presently required by Wal-Mart and Sam's Clubs) to item level RFID tagging is very important because individual items offered for sale must be traceable, if there is to be complete control of the supply side of the economy. - Pastor Guest

Sam's Club Tells Suppliers to Tag or Pay

Sam's Club, which is owned and operated by Wal-Mart, sent letters dated Jan. 7, 2008, to all its suppliers stating that by Jan. 31, every pallet shipped to any of 22 distribution centers or directly to one of its store must be affixed with an EPC Gen 2 RFID tag. Any supplier failing to do so will be charged a service fee that starts at $2 per untagged pallet on Feb. 1 and caps at $3 on Jan. 1, 2009.

This is another step toward creating an air-tight system of inventory control. RFID for each person to ensure only authorized people are allowed to make purchases, RFID for every item to be sold so it can be traced to the buyer. This will all but eliminate a black market during the reign of the beast.
See page 93 of the book "Steps Toward the Mark of the Beast", which deals with the subject, "Cashless Monetary System + RFID = Absolute Control".-Pastor Guest

Social Security to Offer Debit Cards

"We ultimately would like to see an all-electronic Treasury - with the security, efficiency and cost savings that would entail," Tillman said.

Officials said the card would be introduced this spring.

This move will bring people's spending habits under the watchful eye of the government. A person can cash a check and use the money in private transactions. With debit cards the government will know what is bought, where it is bought, how much was paid, etc. . See "Steps Toward the Mark of the Beast".

This will also bring more money through the banking system. More money = more profits. See "Steps Toward the Mark of the Beast" page 61.

The Fall of the Dollar, The Rise of the Cashless Society?

This system will enable tyrants to impose their will upon every person. Once they control the ability to buy or sell they can say, "Submit, or die."

Those who control the New Economic Order will be able to confiscate the wealth of others at will. Those whose wealth is in this system will be unable to resist.

Cashless Revolution Coming to Europe

Speaking at Gartner's ITxpo in Cannes, Gartner principal analyst Alistair Newton said: "With digital money, we believe we're on the cusp of the next revolution."
